Y2phcyn. Little quick side note, I got this game a couple of weeks ago since it was on a 60% discount sale I played TLOU 1 remastered, and enjoyed it a lot... I refrained from buying it at full price because of some unfavorable / mediocre scores never read any reviews on the game btw, but after about 9 or so hours in, I'm having a blast. I mean, if the lower scores are because of the homoaffective relationship involving the protagonist, then that's pretty pathetic. Never quite understood why some people get all triggered by it, but whatever... If there's another reason for the lower scores, please try to keep it spoiler free? Especially if it involves the I was in the part after the theater where you're going up Hillcrest after Tommy, and I got to the part where the WLF comes at you with huge numbers and quite a few dogs, like, right after the part where you first get the crossbow from the garage infected dude Boris, or whatever his name. Up until this part, I have been killing all the WLF's, like, 100%. But from this part on, it obviously gets a little harder to kill all of 'em btw, is there some kind of "penalty" or achievement for killing / not killing them whatsoever? Like a different ending, or something? Again, if impossible to keep it spoiler free, please refrain from answering this part, so I pretty much ran for it in the last segment until Jesse comes to the "rescue".So my question is were there any "relevant / substantial" upgrades / collectibles in those houses in between all the WLF? Those being "bolts" for the weapon upgrades / holsters, medicine for the "ellie upgrades" / training manuals, trading cards most probably? I'm kind of having FOMO on some stuff, but since I'm already past the next flashback chapter "Finding strings"?, I'm not very keen on loading a past manual save and doing ALL that hillcrest part again, unless I missed out on really important s***.Thanks in advance ;

Artifact - Need a Plan Note From the Ruston Coffee shop and the book store, head left down the road to a sinkhole, and look up to the right to climb up in front of a shop called Caroline Paper Co. Break the windows and climb through to find a note on a table in the middle of the shop. advertisementTrading Card - Shair the Sorcerer Also inside Caroline Paper Co., head to the very back of the shop where several small cardboard boxes have been stacked and look inside the tops of them for the card to appear - it’s easily missed in the dark as the icon won’t appear unless you are looking down into the box. Workbench Location - Bicycle Shop After climbing up the moving dumpster, you’ll get to a hole in a brick wall you can use to enter a bicycle shop’s workshop. There’s a workbench here. Be sure to loot this room as well. Trading Card - Naledi the Youthful Inside the bicycle shop’s workshop, look around to the back of the room with a door leading to an office, and a cork board. Below the board is a bicycle stashed in the corner, and a trading card has been placed in the spokes of the back wheel. Artifact - Condolence Noteadvertisement Walk around the bicycle shop’s workshop area towards the back, and enter the office connected to it. There, you’ll find an artifact Condolence Note. Training Manual - Precision SkillsExit the bicycle shop and head through to the liquor store nearby and pick up the Precision Training Manual behind the cash register on the floor. This manual can also be found after clearing out the basement below the liquor store of Shamblers, and crawling through a hole to come up into a children’s bookstore where the manual may be found by the remains of a mutated body. Artifact - Note in Hillcrest Tattoo Parlor Head into Velvet Tattoo parlor and loot the place for supplies including supplements. In the back office area, there’s an artifact on the table. Artifact - Turn in Borisadvertisement Look for a pet store and dog grooming salon at the end of the street, where a Shambler and Runner are staggering about. The door to the grooming salon is locked, but you can smash the windows to hop over kill the infected first or they’ll be alerted to this. Once inside, look to the sinks on the right to find a note. Artifact - Dale’s Combo The pet store and grooming salon has a broken wall leading into a bar with a billiards hall where the Shambler and Runner are likely to wander. After killing them, head into the back kitchen and look on the left wall as you enter to find several papers - and a note you can grab. The note includes a safe combo, which you can access behind the row of buildings on the opposite side of the street from the bar. Safe - Auto Repair Shop and Gun Holster Location From the main street, jump over the fences or walls in between the hair salon and tattoo parlor you can also cut through the back of Shear Lux to find a sealed garage with a dumpster in front of the door. Move the dumpster to access the door to the Auto Repair Shop. Behind it is a bunch of runners so have a molotov cocktail ready, then get some distance and shoot. Another option is to line that area with some trap mines, and let them come to you. Inside is a safe with a Gun Holster if you didn’t find both in Downtown Seattle, plus lots of ammo, scrap, and explosives. Use the Dale’s Combo note from the bar across the street, and enter the code 30, 82, 65. Be sure to check the back room for more supplements and other loot. Trading Card - Brainstorm Once you get to the top of the hill and see the smoke from the mysterious explosion, evade the Runners and hop over a fence into a backyard with a small hot tub and child’s playhouse. Go to the opposite side of the children’s playhouse for the trading card - Brainstorm. advertisementArtifact - Boris’ Confession As you enter the first home in Hillcrest proper, look on the living room table near the fireplace for a note from Boris. Artifact - Rosemont’s Flyer In the same house, move towards the kitchen area and dining table. On the left , there’s a small table with an artifact on it Rosemont's Flyer. When you’re ready, head through the hole in the door by the kitchen and get ready for a quick brawl that gives you a Bow and the recipe to make Arrows. Go through the front door, up the stairs, and turn around and go up the hall to a bedroom with a window overlooking the front yard. Naughty Dog’s latest masterpiece, The Last of Us Part II, is an incredibly violent game. Without getting into spoilers, it’s a revenge story in which the main character, Ellie, can brutally take out enemies who stand in her way. Not all of them are human, though. Some are infected creatures that are mutated with a strain of the Cordyceps fungus. While you probably won’t feel bad for killing those enemies, you might want to avoid eliminating the various dogs you come across. Vicious enemy dogs have been featured in video games before, but they’re particularly realistic in The Last of Us Part II, making it tougher to justify killing them, even if they’re attacking you. Luckily, you don’t actually have to kill the dogs you encounter. This is a stealth game, after all, so you can sneak by them if you know what you’re doing. In this guide, we’ll walk you through avoiding the killer dogs in The Last of Us Part II, along with other tips you should know. But why? How to sneak past dogs Let’s face it — we’ve been killing other humans in video games since the medium’s inception. That’s why we don’t really bat an eye when we’re tasked with taking them out, even in a realistic game like The Last of Us Part II. But, give us the option to do the same with dogs, and it’s a different story. The nice thing is that you can avoid killing all dogs in the game, except for one. Unfortunately, there is an unskippable interaction with a dog early on, in which you must complete a quick-time event to take it out. This might be too much for some to handle — and understandably so. If you can get past that, though, every dog thereafter can be avoided. The dogs work similarly to the humans and infected, in that you must be quiet to avoid them. However, dogs have the ability to track your scent, so simply being quiet isn’t good enough. You have to distract them. It’s recommended to always have a bottle or brick on you, which can be collected throughout the world. If you see a dog and its owner, throw a brick or bottle toward them, but not at them. This is important because the idea is to distract them, not draw them toward you. If you hit the dog or person with the item you threw, they’ll be alerted to your location, which is not what you want. Instead, aim for the area around them, particularly away from your destination. As long as you remain hidden and keep your distance while you throw items, the dogs won’t track you down. It’s also important to know that you can press and hold R1 to enter listen mode, which highlights nearby enemies. It also reveals your scent, as indicated by a trail leading from the dog to Ellie. You’ll want to constantly check this when a dog is in range to tell if they’re onto you. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you’ll end up alerting a dog. If this happens, you have a few options. The easiest thing to do is restart the checkpoint. The Last of Us Part II uses an autosave system that saves relatively often, so going back a few minutes isn’t a huge issue. You can do this from the pause menu. If you don’t want to risk losing anything to go back to the last save, then you can do the same thing you’d do if you encountered a dog in real life—run. Though, this method might be a lot harder to execute than you’d expect, depending on the layout of the area. If you’re lucky, you can run to the objective without being stopped by an enemy, but a lot of times, this isn’t possible. If the dog gets close to you, you’ll need to press L1 to dodge out of the way, though timing it right during the heat of battle can be tricky. If you’re able to climb, you can jump onto a car or other high object so you’ll be out of reach of the dog while still targeting other enemies in the game. Again, whether this is possible depends on where you are concerning your goal. If a dog grabs you, you’ll need to mash the square button to shake it off. Some dogs can do a lot of damage, so if your health was already less than stellar, you might not survive the attack. In ihnen findet ihr zum einen gewisse Hinweise auf Gefahren, die euch noch bevorstehen, Zahlenkombinationen für Safes und erfahrt in sich spannende und oftmals tragische Geschichten, die die Immersion der Spielwelt noch steigern. Nutzt Bomben! Wenn ihr auf größere Infizierte, wie Bloater und Shambler trefft, kann es dazu kommen, dass ihr ein oder zwei ganze Magazine leergeschossen habt, ehe der Gegner besiegt ist. Ihr könnt allerdings gut Munition sparen, indem ihr Sprengfallen und Bomben nutzt, in welche diese hineinlaufen und somit direkt zu Hackfleisch verarbeitet werden. Wurfobjekte sind extrem praktisch. Ihr könnt diese benutzen, um Gegner vorübergehend zu betäuben, Scheiben einzuschmeißen und Gegner abzulenken. Speziell, wenn ihr aus der Distanz eine Flasche oder einen Ziegelstein in eine Scheibe werft, könnt ihr eure Gegner damit ablenken, sodass ihr um diese herumschleichen könnt. Ihr könnt sie auch alle zu einem Punkt locken, sodass ihr diese schnell auf einmal z. B. mit Bomben ausschalten könnt. Waffenmodifikationen lohnen sich. Überall im Spiel, vor allem in verlassenen Geschäften und Lagerhallen, findet ihr recht viel Crafting-Material. Sammelt dieses immer wieder ein und nutzt die regelmäßig auftauchenden Werkbänke, um eure Waffen zu verbessern, indem ihr eure Munitionskapazität erhöht, oder die Stabilität, bzw. das Schuss- und Nachladetempo eurer Waffen verbessert. Besonders, wenn ihr unter Druck geratet, werden diese Mods euch das Leben retten. Mund halten und zuhören! Eure Lehrer mögen zwar daran gescheitert sein euch diese Tugenden einzutrichtern, allerdings sind diese in TLOU2 extrem wichtig. Egal wo ihr seid, haltet mal inne und haltet die R1-Taste gedrückt, um zu lauschen und festzustellen, ob Feinde in der Nähe sind, und wenn ja, wo sich diese aufhalten. Speziell, wenn ihr von Feinden umzingelt seid, solltet ihr das tun, um festzustellen, welchen ihr als nächstes ausschalten könnt, ohne entdeckt zu werden. Dies sind so denken wir die wichtigsten Tipps und Tugenden, die ihr als Spieler befolgen solltet, sowohl um erfolgreich zu sein als auch, um die Immersion des Spiels zu steigern. Deshalb tötete er mehrere Fireflies und Ärzte, die Ellie sizieren wollten und brachte das Mädchen in Sicherheit. Ihr allerdings erzählte er nichts von dem möglichen Heilmittel und sagte, man hätte sie einfach gehen lassen. Steigt auf euren alten Gaul und folgt Tommy durch die verfallenen Siedlungen Wyomings, um zur Quarantänezone von Jackson zu gelangen. Joel und Tommy steigen daraufhin auf ihre Pferde und reiten zurück zur Safe Zone. Hier müsst ihr dem vorausreitenden Tommy einfach folgen. Mit L1 galoppiert ihr und mit der X-Taste springt ihr über Hindernisse. In der Siedlung angekommen sagt Tommy zu Joel, dass er in Bezug auf Ellie wahrscheinlich genauso gehandelt besucht daraufhin Ellie und unterhält sich etwas mit ihr. Er hat ihr eine Gitarre mitgebracht und spielt ihr etwas vor. Mit dem rechten Analogstick müsst ihr nun in die angegebene Richtung zeigen, um den passenden Akkord zu greifen, während ihr mit dem Touchpad das Streichen über die Seiten dem kurzen musikalischen Ausflug, in welchem Joel auch seinen Gesang zum besten gibt, überlässt er Ellie die Gitarre und wünscht ihr eine schöne Nacht.
